Years ago we found a threadbare, faded rust colored velvet mirror with lots of hat pins and a gazillion holes poked into it. It was used in a Milliner's shop (one who makes or trims women's hats) as a big pin cushion. Picture dashing ladies standing in front of the mirror being fitted for a new chapeau and the milliner poking a selection of pins in the client's updos. We blew up the scale of the frame, replicating the form, and have been making it for years with various mohair velvets and COM.
This in stock mirror has clear, flat clear glass framed in our fawn mohair. Outfitted with a wire for hanging. For indoor use only. An RT Facts Design made by hand in our Kent, Connecticut workshop.
